In the diverse landscape of contemporary music, few artists manage to authentically blend the heritage of multiple cultures and resonate with a wide-ranging audience. Poupak — a singer, painter, and graphic designer — has emerged as a true bridge between Persian and Arab worlds, inspiring listeners globally.
Poupak, which means “hoopoe bird” in Persian, was a name gifted by her grandfather, a renowned poet and professor of Persian literature. From an early age, she dreamed of performing on stage, inspired by her father’s powerful voice and her family’s artistic legacy. At 13, she began singing covers for friends and family, and three years ago, she embarked on her professional journey as a singer-songwriter.
With over 20 songs in Persian, Arabic, and English, Poupak collaborates with artists from the UAE, Egypt, Syria, Seychelles, and Russia. Her music spans pop, fusion, R&B, and rock, attracting Persian, Arab, Turkish, and international listeners who appreciate sincerity and cultural diversity.
Her music explores themes of love, life, and positivity—striving to inspire, unite, and show that music can be a bridge between cultures, languages, and hearts.
As both a singer and visual artist, Poupak’s style is elegant, expressive, and deeply rooted in tradition, yet modern and accessible. Each music video and photoshoot tells a unique story, reflecting her creative vision.
Looking ahead, Poupak plans to release an album, collaborate with diverse artists, and return to live performances. Her mission is to be a voice that unites cultures and inspires openness, respect, and harmony.
