In a move celebrating excellence in education, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed honours Dubai’s outstanding teachers and academics with Golden Visas, recognising their vital role in shaping the emirate’s future generations.
In a landmark initiative to honour the transformative power of education, Dubai has awarded Golden Visas to 223 exceptional educators from across the emirate. The decision, made under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, highlights the emirate’s commitment to fostering excellence in teaching and learning.
The recipients include teachers and academics from early childhood centres, schools, and universities, all recognised for their exceptional contributions to education, innovation, and youth development. The Golden Visa grants long-term residency to these educators, providing them and their families with stability, privileges, and the opportunity to continue shaping Dubai’s knowledge-driven future.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that the move reflects Dubai’s deep appreciation for the education sector and its people, who play a vital role in building a prosperous and sustainable society. “Educators are the architects of our future — their dedication and wisdom light the path for generations to come,” he said.
The initiative aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of creating a world-class education ecosystem, attracting top talent, and encouraging educators to innovate and inspire. It also supports the UAE’s national agenda to make the country a global hub for learning, research, and human capital development.
The Golden Visa programme has been a cornerstone of Dubai’s strategy to attract exceptional talent across various fields — from science and arts to entrepreneurship and academia. By extending this recognition to teachers, Dubai underscores that education remains at the heart of its progress and long-term vision.
As Dubai continues to invest in its human capital, the recognition of these 223 educators not only celebrates their achievements but also reaffirms the emirate’s belief that quality education is the foundation of every thriving nation.
