Starting July 1, 2024, Dubai Mall will implement a new paid parking system in collaboration with Salik. The system will transition from free parking to a barrier-free payment method using vehicle plate recognition.
This initiative aims to enhance efficiency and minimize congestion at one of the world’s busiest shopping destinations.
The new parking system at Dubai Mall will operate seamlessly without gates or barriers. Using advanced vehicle plate recognition technology, fees will be automatically deducted from customers’ Salik accounts, akin to the Salik toll system used on Dubai’s roads.
The parking fees at Dubai Mall will vary based on the duration of stay, categorized into weekdays (Monday to Thursday) and weekends (Friday to Sunday). Here’s a breakdown of the charges:
Weekdays (Monday to Thursday)
Weekends (Friday to Sunday)
The new charges apply to the Grand, Cinema, and Fashion parking areas within Dubai Mall. Notably, Zabeel and Fountain Views parking areas will remain exempt from charges.
