Tesla has officially introduced the Model Y L Premium in the United Arab Emirates, expanding its globally successful Model Y lineup with a new six-seat configuration designed for families, long-distance comfort, and everyday versatility.
Now available to order from AED 224,990, the Model Y L Premium brings a more spacious cabin, an extended wheelbase, refined interior features, advanced safety systems, and impressive driving performance. Customer deliveries in the UAE are expected to begin in November 2026.

Designed for More Space, Comfort, and Utility
The Model Y L Premium has been engineered to deliver a significantly more spacious interior. Tesla has extended the wheelbase by 150 mm and increased the overall length by 179 mm, creating a more open and practical cabin for passengers and cargo.
This new layout allows owners to easily prioritize either maximum passenger comfort or expanded storage space, making the vehicle suitable for school runs, family road trips, weekend getaways, business commutes, and everyday UAE driving.
The optimized roof design adds 70 mm of headroom in the second row, giving passengers a more open and relaxed seating experience. The third row has also been carefully designed to accommodate taller passengers, while rear shoulder room has been increased by 20 mm through Tesla’s intelligent packaging.
Larger rear doors improve access to the second and third rows, while expanded rear quarter windows create a brighter and more comfortable atmosphere for passengers seated at the back.
Best-in-Class Cargo Capacity
Beyond passenger comfort, Model Y L Premium has been built with practicality at its core. Thanks to its new body architecture, the vehicle offers up to 2,539 liters of cargo capacity.
Even with all six passengers on board, the rear trunk can still accommodate two large suitcases and one cabin-size trolley bag. The front trunk adds further convenience by holding an additional cabin-size bag.
When the third row is folded flat, the vehicle can carry up to six large suitcases in total, making it highly suitable for family travel, airport transfers, staycations, and longer journeys across the UAE and beyond.
A Curated Premium Interior
Inside, the Model Y L Premium offers three spacious rows finished with premium handcrafted textiles in a super-quiet, highly versatile cabin. Every seat has been designed to maximize headroom, legroom, and support.
First-row passengers benefit from heated and ventilated seats, adjustable headrests, a thigh cushion extender, a 16-inch central display with 2560 x 1600 resolution, and a 50W wireless fast charger with active cooling.
The second row features captain’s chairs that bring a first-class feel to the cabin. These seats include an 8-inch touchscreen for climate control, gaming, and entertainment, along with powered armrests, one-touch folding, ventilation, heating, and 8-way power adjustment with up to 125 degrees of recline.
The third row also receives thoughtful comfort features, including power recline, one-touch folding, and dedicated climate control. Both the second and third rows include charging ports and fold completely flat, giving owners more control over how they use the cabin.
Model Y L Premium also comes standard with acoustic glass and 19-inch Machina 2.0 Wheels, helping reduce road noise and improve ride comfort. A premium 19-speaker audio system delivers an immersive sound experience throughout the cabin.
Safety at the Center
Safety remains one of Tesla’s strongest priorities, and the Model Y L Premium continues that focus with a comprehensive safety structure and advanced protection systems.
The vehicle includes side curtain airbags for the first and second rows, along with dedicated third-row airbags, offering full side-impact protection for all occupants, from children to adults.
Tesla has also added reinforced floor beams and a new integrated die-cast rear underbody, improving structural rigidity and helping reduce intrusion during side impacts.
Model Y L Premium comes equipped with advanced driver assistance features as standard, including Autosteer, Traffic-Aware Cruise Control, and automatic emergency braking. The vehicle is also hardware-ready to support Full Self-Driving Supervised, where available and approved.
Performance With Tesla DNA
Despite its larger size and family-focused configuration, Model Y L Premium remains true to Tesla’s performance-driven identity.
The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 201 km/h. With electronic damping and adaptive suspension, it delivers precise handling, stable driving dynamics, and a comfortable ride for both city use and long-distance travel.
Model Y L Premium also offers a WLTP range of 681 km, giving drivers the confidence to take longer journeys with fewer charging stops. In the UAE, owners will also benefit from access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, which includes more than 220 Superchargers across the country.
