Dubai’s ready apartment market recorded strong growth in the third quarter of 2026, with sales value rising 16.4 per cent to approximately $3.5bn.
The increase was accompanied by a 21.9 per cent rise in transaction volumes, highlighting continued demand for completed residential properties across the emirate.
During the first nine months of 2026, five key communities accounted for 7,939 ready apartment transactions, representing approximately 33 per cent of all ready apartment sales recorded across Dubai during the period.
One-Bedroom Apartments Lead Demand
One-bedroom apartments remained the most actively traded unit type during the first nine months of the year.
A total of 10,245 one-bedroom apartments were sold, accounting for 42.7 per cent of overall transactions. Their combined sales value reached approximately AED11.9bn ($3.24bn).
Two-bedroom apartments ranked second by transaction volume, recording 6,386 sales. However, they generated the highest total sales value among apartment categories, reaching AED14.8bn ($4.03bn).
The figures underline continued demand for both smaller residential units and larger apartments across Dubai’s established communities.
Palm Jumeirah Leads Luxury Apartment Sales
Dubai’s premium apartment segment also remained active, with 210 ready residential apartments selling for more than AED10m ($2.72m) each during the first nine months of 2026.
According to Al Masdar Al Aqaari’s analysis of Dubai Land Department data, these transactions generated a combined value of approximately AED4bn ($1.09bn).
Palm Jumeirah dominated the segment, recording 58 transactions worth a combined AED1.2bn ($326.8m).
Burj Khalifa Area followed with 32 transactions valued at AED683.9m ($186.2m), reinforcing its position as another major destination for high-value residential transactions.
Bluewaters Records Dubai’s Most Expensive Sale
Bluewaters Island recorded the most expensive ready residential apartment transaction during the period, with a property selling for AED90m ($24.5m).
Palm Jumeirah accounted for the next three most expensive transactions. Apartments in the community sold for AED65m ($17.7m), AED63.5m ($17.3m) and AED50.3m ($13.7m).
An apartment in the Burj Khalifa Area completed the top five, changing hands for AED50m ($13.6m).
