Jebel Ali Metro Station Renamed National Paints Metro Station in Landmark 10-Year Deal
Landmark partnership aligns infrastructure with innovation as National Paints secures naming rights to one of Dubai Metro’s key Red Line stations for the next decade.
Dubai’s RTA inks strategic partnership with National Paints Factories, continuing its innovative station naming rights initiative to enhance public-private collaboration
In a move that underscores Dubai’s ongoing commitment to public-private partnerships, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced the renaming of Jebel Ali Metro Station to National Paints Metro Station under a newly signed 10-year branding agreement with National Paints Factories.
This strategic agreement is part of RTA’s broader metro naming rights initiative, designed to build long-term collaborations with prominent local and international companies while enriching the commuter experience. The renamed station, located on the Red Line, will reflect the National Paints brand across various platforms, including station signage, audio announcements, digital media, and maps.
RTA officials confirmed that the transition has already begun, with full rebranding expected to be completed in the coming weeks. This includes updates to interior and exterior station signage, directional systems, and smart screens.
“We are pleased to partner with National Paints, a well-established Emirati company with a strong presence in the region,” said an RTA spokesperson. “This initiative not only enhances revenue sustainability but also deepens engagement between the city’s infrastructure and the business community.”
The agreement highlights the growing interest among leading brands to associate with the Dubai Metro — one of the region’s most advanced urban transit networks. National Paints joins a distinguished list of companies, including Etisalat, Onpassive, and Mashreq, that have previously participated in similar naming partnerships.
National Paints, founded in the UAE and now a household name across the Middle East, sees the deal as a natural extension of its brand visibility and commitment to national development.
“Our collaboration with RTA is a reflection of our vision to be part of Dubai’s dynamic urban landscape,” said a representative from National Paints. “We are proud to have our name attached to such an iconic and vital public facility.”
With Dubai Metro continuing to serve millions of residents and tourists each month, the National Paints Metro Station is set to become a familiar landmark on the city’s expanding map of innovation, commerce, and connectivity.
