Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has declared a series of scheduled maintenance works in the Jumeirah area, expected to cause traffic delays over the next few weekends. The maintenance will be carried out in three phases, each affecting different road sections.
- Phase 1: Between Saturday, August 10, and Monday, August 12, maintenance will take place in both directions between Al Manara Street and Umm Al Sheif Road.
- Phase 2: Scheduled from Saturday, August 17 to Monday, August 19, this phase will impact the area between the Al Manara Street and the Al Thanya Street intersection.
- Phase 3: The final phase will occur from Saturday, August 24 to Monday, August 26, near Mercato Shopping Mall, affecting traffic in both directions.
Traffic Advisory:
The RTA advises motorists to plan their routes and follow posted traffic signs to avoid potential delays. During each phase, the maintenance work will begin at 2 PM on Saturday and continue until 5 AM on Monday. Travelers are encouraged to use alternative routes to ensure timely destination arrival.
