Residents of Dubai will see the introduction of six new paid parking areas by the end of July, aiming to improve organization and eliminate ad-hoc parking on sandy areas.
Locations and Capacity:
According to Parkin Dubai’s Instagram post, the new parking areas will provide over 7,000 parking spaces across key locations:
- Jaddaf Waterfront
- Al Sufouh Gardens
- Arjan
- Majan
- Liwan 1 and 2
- Dubailand Residence Complex
Payment Zones and Rates:
The parking is divided into two zones, each with its own payment scheme:
Zone A:
- Includes Arjan, Jaddaf Waterfront, and Al Sufouh Gardens.
- Rates:
- 30 minutes: Dhs2
- One hour: Dhs4
- Two hours: Dhs8
- Three hours: Dhs12
- Four hours: Dhs16
Zone B:
- Includes Arjan, Dubailand Residence Complex, Majan, Liwan 1 and 2, and Al Sufouh Gardens.
- Rates:
- One hour: Dhs3
- Two hours: Dhs6
- Three hours: Dhs9
- Four hours: Dhs12
- Five hours: Dhs15
- 24 hours: Dhs20
Operational Details:
- Operating Hours: Paid parking will be enforced from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday.
- Payment Methods: Payment can be made via SMS, WhatsApp, or the RTA App. Additionally, payment can be made at parking machines using cash, card, or nol card.
