Get ready to answer the door to a Dubai delivery robot, as it could be about to pop around with your shopping. Starting in August 2024, a trio of adorable little food carriers will serve the community in Dubai Sustainable City, providing a convenient alternative to heading out in the heat.

The project is a collaboration between researchers at Dubai Future Labs and technology firm Lyve Global.
The delivery robots have been trialed in the area and are now ready to hit the roads. Due to its fully pedestrianized streets and residential clusters, the service will initially only operate in Sustainable City.
Service Features and Efficiency:
Residents in the area can expect these robots to deliver meals from local restaurants or everyday groceries right to their apartments.
The four-wheeled robots are designed to be quick and efficient, promising deliveries in under 30 minutes.
They navigate their surroundings safely without getting lost or encountering obstacles and can even find the nearest charging station when their battery runs low.
