Lenny Kravitz, the iconic musician, showed that love truly rules on Sunday, July 7, at the Main Square Festival in Arras, France. In a touching moment, the 60-year-old artist shared a video of himself embracing a crying fan during his performance.
Capturing the Emotion:
Kravitz’s caption, “Let love rule. @mainsquarefestival 🎥: @rossss_mia,” accompanied the heartfelt video. Climbing a step in front of the crowd, Kravitz pulled the emotional fan into his arms, swaying side to side with her during the instrumentals of one of his tracks. The fan, resting her head on his shoulder, clung to Kravitz and cried joyfully.
The Main Square Festival also shared a clip of Kravitz carrying a little girl from the audience. After placing her back in the crowd, he exclaimed, “Oh yeah! Love. We’ve got to … sing it!” The festival’s Instagram page thanked Kravitz for the moment and posted another video of him leading the audience in a wave.
Gratitude and Tour Updates:
Following the event, Kravitz posted a video on his Instagram Stories, waving to fans as he left the festival in his bus. “Thank you @mainsquarefestival,” he wrote.
Currently on his Blue Electric Light Tour, Kravitz will perform in various European countries, including Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Hungary, and Croatia. Earlier in July, he shared a clip of his arrival for a show in Amsterdam, captioned, “We’re here Amsterdam. @ziggodome #BlueElectricLight2024.”
Looking Ahead: Las Vegas Residency:
In May, Kravitz spoke to PEOPLE about his upcoming five-day residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas this October.
He expressed excitement about introducing his new music to fans in such a historic entertainment setting, describing it as a perfect warm-up and presentation for his latest album, Blue Electric Light.
