Dubai Opera has unveiled an exciting lineup of shows for the upcoming months, headlined by the much-anticipated stage adaptation of the iconic MGM film Singin’ in the Rain.
This beloved musical will be performed in Dubai for the first time, offering audiences a nostalgic journey back to Hollywood’s golden age, when silent films transitioned to talkies.
Singin’ in the Rain promises a spectacular experience with classic songs like “Good Morning,” “Make ’em Laugh,” “Moses Supposes,” and the timeless title track, “Singin’ in the Rain.” The production will feature live rain showers on stage, adding a unique and immersive element, especially for those seated in the front rows.
Jonathan Church directs the show, which features choreography by Andrew Wright and set design by Simon Higlett. It will run from Saturday, November 30, to Saturday, December 14, 2024, with performances every day except Monday.
