Free Preventative Security Service:
Dubai Police provides a free preventative security service for city residents who will be away for an extended period.
This service is specifically aimed at villa residents. It ensures regular patrols monitor the homes of those who sign up.
How to Sign Up:
- Via Dubai Police App: You can register from home or abroad.
- At the Airport: You can complete the registration just before you leave.
Required Information:
To sign up for the home security service, you’ll need to provide:
- Emirates ID number
- Valid email address
- Mobile number
- Makani number
- Villa number
- Travel details
- Emergency communication details
For extra peace of mind, you must confirm your request via text or email.
- The service is available only to residents of Dubai.
- It applies to houses or villas, not apartments.
Security Measures:
Ensure all valuables, entrances, windows, and safes are securely locked. Any form of transport should not be easily accessible to thieves.
Dubai Police has also announced free car inspections until Saturday, August 31, as part of the General Department of Traffic’s‘ Summer Without Accidents’ campaign.
