Rock fans, gear up for an unforgettable musical experience as a brand-new rock festival is set to hit Dubai this November.
Scheduled for Saturday, November 23, ‘From The Oyster Comes The Pearl’ will bring electrifying performances to the beloved Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium.
The Line-Up:
The festival’s name, ‘From The Oyster Comes The Pearl,’ is a fitting tribute to the UAE’s humble beginnings and serves as the title of the headline act The Mission’s track from their 2013 album, The Brightest Light.
The Mission
- Debut Dubai Performance: This marks the first-ever gig in Dubai for The Mission, a gothic rock band formed in 1986.
- Global Success: Known for their worldwide success, the band has produced ten studio albums over three stints in the rock scene.
- Top Hits: Fans can expect to hear iconic tracks like “Wasteland,” “Butterfly on a Wheel,” and “Tower of Strength,” along with other classics from their 40-year career.
The Chameleons
- Legacy Band: A prominent name in Manchester’s underground rock circuit during the 1980s.
