Bollywood sensation Kartik Aaryan, fresh off the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (BB3), recently touched down in Dubai, where he discussed his incredible journey, his latest blockbuster’s global success, and his dreams of taking his love for luxury to new heights—this time, perhaps with a private jet.
As Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 quickly raced past the Rs150-crore mark, Kartik once again solidified his status as a Bollywood heavyweight. Known for his knack for both thriller and comedy, the 33-year-old actor has had a string of post-pandemic hits, including Freddy, Dhamaka, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. With his latest, BB3, making waves at the box office, Kartik now boasts an impressive five films that have joined Bollywood’s coveted 100-crore club.
Though now a familiar face worldwide, Kartik carries his roots with him. “Gwalior goes with me wherever I go,” he shared in a recent chat with Khaleej Times. Reflecting on his upbringing, he noted, “I’ve been there, I’ve seen life over there, I’ve experienced things over there, and that has always been with me … woh mere andar hi hai [it’s within me].”
Embracing Dubai’s Luxury Scene
Dubai, famous for its dazzling cityscape and luxury lifestyle, seemed like a fitting place to discuss Kartik’s celebrated car collection—a hobby that he takes great pride in. After the roaring success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, T-Series producer Bhushan Kumar gifted Kartik a McLaren GT. The supercar, one of the fastest in the world, reaches 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and complements Kartik’s impressive lineup, which includes a Range Rover SV, Lamborghini Urus, Porsche 718 Boxster, and a Mini Cooper S gifted to his mother.
When asked if he’d like to take a supercar for a night drive in Dubai, Kartik chuckled, “Not here in Dubai, but I do that a lot in Mumbai. Here, I don’t have a car. I hope I can buy one here too.”
The Dream of a Private Jet
When suggested he might deserve another gift from Bhushan Kumar, Kartik upped the stakes. “Please tell Bhushan Kumar to buy me a plane!” he laughed, joking about the costs of promotions and travel arrangements. “Best, I’m going to buy a private jet in Dubai,” he added with a playful grin, his ambition unmistakable.
With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 still gaining momentum, Kartik’s success shows no signs of slowing down. His wish for a private jet may be closer to reality than it seems.
