Jacob & Co, renowned for their luxury jewelry and watches, have teamed up with Binghatti, an Emirati property development company, to bring this ambitious project to life. Described as “inspired by the impossible,” the skyscraper will feature design elements drawn from the intricate horological movements of Jacob & Co timepieces.
“We took inspiration from the complex horological movements that beat in Jacob & Co timepieces, and we integrated them into the key elements of the tower.
The diamond-shaped spires sitting at the peak of the tower are reminiscent of an actual crown, an ornament of unique finesse inspired by the design of Jacob & Co’s finely cut gems,” said Muhammad Binghatti, CEO and head of Architecture at Binghatti.
Chasing the Title of the World’s Tallest Residential Tower:
Though the official height of the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences has yet to be revealed, it must surpass New York’s Central Park Tower, which stands at 472 meters, to claim the title of the world’s tallest residential tower.
Dubai is no outsider to breaking world records with its architectural feats. The city is already home to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, which has held the title since its completion in 2009. The Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences is set to add to this legacy, further cementing Dubai’s position as a global leader in architectural innovation.
