Samsung’s Bold 2025 Strategy: Expanding Foldables, Budget-Friendly Phones, and More

"Samsung's 2025 Vision: Expanding Foldables and Strengthening Budget-Friendly Offerings"

Samsung is gearing up for an exciting year in 2025, with big plans to expand its Galaxy lineup. After the launch of the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series, the tech giant is now focusing on broadening its foldable offerings and enhancing its budget-friendly devices to compete across all segments of the market.

Expanding the Foldable Lineup

In its recent Q4 2024 earnings call, Samsung hinted at the addition of new foldable smartphones, with rumors swirling around an affordable Galaxy Z Flip FE model and a potential Fold SE variant aimed at more markets. These devices, expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 later in 2025, would serve to attract a wider audience and diversify Samsung’s foldable range.

Affordable Galaxy Phones for All

Samsung’s budget strategy is also evolving with the upcoming Galaxy A56. The phone promises exciting upgrades, including 45W wired charging support, making it an attractive option even against premium models like the Galaxy S25. The Galaxy A16, part of the budget lineup, will offer six years of software updates, ensuring longevity despite minimal hardware upgrades.

With these bold moves in foldables and mid-range devices, Samsung is poised to strengthen its position as a dominant player in the 2025 smartphone market.
