Set along the Arabian Gulf near Al Marjan Island, the 300-room lifestyle destination marks a bold new chapter for the emirate’s luxury hospitality scene
Ras Al Khaimah, UAE — The iconic Hard Rock brand is set to make its mark on Ras Al Khaimah’s flourishing tourism landscape with the launch of Hard Rock Hotel & Residences Ras Al Khaimah, scheduled to open in 2028.
Located in the emirate’s vibrant Beach District, adjacent to the picturesque Al Marjan Island, the upcoming development promises to deliver Hard Rock’s signature blend of music-infused hospitality, elevated design, and world-class amenities. The mixed-use property will feature 300 hotel rooms, along with branded residences, offering guests and residents a unique coastal lifestyle experience on the shores of the Arabian Gulf.
The project is being developed by HR Hotel FZ LLC, a strategic joint venture between Malta-based db Group—a seasoned European hospitality leader—and RAK Hospitality Holding (RAKHH), a key player in Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality sector. This partnership aims to bring together global brand power and local market expertise to create a landmark destination that caters to both international travelers and discerning residents.
“Hard Rock Hotel & Residences Ras Al Khaimah will bring a new rhythm to the emirate’s hospitality offering,” the developers stated. The property is expected to draw inspiration from the region’s natural beauty while embracing the brand’s bold and energetic identity, with lifestyle-driven amenities, entertainment experiences, and curated dining concepts.
As Ras Al Khaimah continues its ambitious tourism expansion, the addition of Hard Rock further underscores the emirate’s growing appeal as a premier destination for luxury hospitality and experiential travel. The development also aligns with broader efforts to attract global investment and diversify the tourism portfolio beyond traditional sun-and-sand offerings.
